⚠️ Emergency Alert 03-05-2026: The Sixth Street water tank is being drained and cleaned today. You may notice brown water. Due to sediment settling at the bottom of the tank, brown water is normal. Please run the cold water tap (preferably an outside spigot) until the water runs clear. Try to avoid running the hot water to clear the brown water as sediment can run through your water heater. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is a necessary process.

The police department is located at 103 S.E. Railroad Street, Rose Hill, N.C. 28458. The Chief of Police is Michael Tyndall. The department is staffed with five (5) full time officers and five (5) part time officers.
